Guy Eames

Guy Eames is the Co-Founder of the Green Building Council Russia.

He started his career in telecommunications industry. At various times, he used to be Head of several Russian as well as international companies, including RTDC, Delta Telecom, Philips Consumer Communications and others. At one of them he was in charge of procurements in Eastern Europe.

In 2009, he founded the Green Building Council Russia (RuGBC), the largest green building association in the Russian Federation.

RuGBC brought together over 230 Russian and international companies, leaders of architectural and construction industry. The activities of RuGBC are aimed at promotion of green building practices and implementation of Russian and global environmental standards in construction.

Guy Eames is a professional with 25 years of experience in Russian and international businesses. His company has been holding a leading position at the market of real estate and green construction for the last 12 years. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Climate Change.

Guy Eames presently runs several large-scale national programs, educates aspiring assessors and teaches students of green technologies. Apart from that, he pays special attention to developing initiatives for a legal framework for the Russian construction industry and to implementation of Russian and global environmental standards in construction.
