Timur Bashkayev

Timur Istanovich Bashkayev is an architect and Head of Timur Bashkayev Architectural Firm.

Born in 1965, he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Architecture in 1988 and started working for the Architecture Department of the Aeroproekt Institute. The first building he designed was constructed in 1989.

In 1992, he became Co-Head of the private architectural firm Gruppa Arch. In 1995, he established Timur Bashkayev Architectural Firm and became its Director. He and his team improved the condition of multiple objects in Moscow and Moscow Region. Throughout the lifetime of his firm, over 300 projects of various buildings and constructions have been designed and implemented. Timur Bashkayev’s team performs all planning works from initial consulting to designing the project to preparing documentation and supervising the construction works.

In 2006, Timur Bashkayev became a regular juror of the NAYADA International Architectural Contest “Office Space: Creativeness, Technologies, Innovations”.

In 2009, he became Professor of the Moscow Institute of Architecture, and has been giving lectures there up to the present day.

Among the most renowned clients of Timur Bashkayev Architectural Firm are Russian Railways, RUSNANO Group, Moscow Architecture and Town-Planning Committee, Moscow Railways and many others. The firm designed multiple bridges, shopping malls, railway stations, car parks, not to mention its most famous project, the Moscow Central Circle.
